"There is no rule on how to write. Sometimes it comes easily and perfectly; sometimes it's like drilling rock and then blasting it out with charges."

Bruce Almighty

August 15, 2008

I hated Jim Carey because i thought he over acts, but i learned to like him because of this movie. I had nothing to do one weekend, and with all the dvd’s at home, all of them i’ve already seen except of this one. So i started watching it. The movie left me a good lesson about leaving all things to God and trusting all His will that is being done to all of us. Everything has a reason of its existence. Bruce, in the movie, was left one day with all the power God has and all the work He is doing. Because of the millions of prayers he was receiving, he wasn’t able to manage to listen to each of them but instead granted all the prayers of the people. Here, i see how the balance of life got all mixed up because all of the prayers were granted. And i realized why some of our prayers are not answered because there is something else that God plans for us which He surely knows is better for us…

people

August 8, 2008

I see people who love to generalize as shallow and inexperience. A person who likes to comment on things that she’s not really knowledgeable of. She would act as if she knew anything,  and without her noticing that she’s already being “ma-epal”. She wouldn’t even know that she’s already looking pathetic because she’s mouthing words that are not even sensible. She belongs to the “old-fashioned people” who live their lives being miserable at others’ successes and because of that mentality, they’re being pulled down by their misery…

…enough of them.

A Desire to Change

July 29, 2008

At this point of her life, she realized that she’s beginning to shift from childhood to womanhood. There are these concepts and ideas that revolve around her that induce her to be different, to rebel.

She’s getting there. She’s changed herself. She gained cofidence.

The old her is beginning to die…

A new her is being born…

..from Maria’s Diary

July 23, 2008

I spent today outside a funfair. Since I can’t afford to fritter my money away, I thought it’s just best to watch other people. I stood for a long time by the roller coaster and I noticed that most people get on it in search of excitement, but that once it starts, they are terrified and want the cars to stop.

What do they expect? Having chosen adventure, shouldn’t they be prepared to go the whole way? Or do they think that the intelligent thing to do would be to avoid the ups and downs and spend all their time on a carousel, going round and round on the spot?

At the moment, I’m far too lonely to think about love, but I have to believe that it will happen, that I am here because I chose this fate. The roller coaster is my life; life is fast, dizzying game; life is a parachute jump; it’s taking chances, falling over and getting up again; its mounteneering; it’s wanting to get to the very top of yourself and to feel angry and dissatisfied when you don’t manage it.

It isn’t easy being far from my family, but from now on, whenever I feel depressed, I will remember that funfair. If I had fallen asleep and suddenly wpken up on a roller coaster, what would i feel?

Well, I would feel trapped and sick, terrified of every bend, wanting to get off. However if I believe that the track is my destiny and that God is in charge of the machine, then the nightmare becomes something thrilling.

It becomes exactly what it is, a roller coaster, a safe, reliable toy, which will eventually stop, but, while the journey lasts,i must look at the surrounding landscape and whoop with excitement.

J.Eris

July 18, 2008

 Her name is Joanna Eris…

She loves pears…

She was born on Christmas day…

She believes in stars, she’s capricorn…

Her hair is short…

She has several wigs, auburn , blonde, midnight blue, black…

She lives alone….

She went out one night, travelled to the country, met a man, on late forties perhaps…

She took a shower, leaving the man in the living room, smoking his pipe…

Sneaking out of the bathroom into the bedroom, she sipped on the wine she found on the table…she searched the gun in the man’s closet…

Bang…

The man was lying on the floor…naked…dead…

She took the money out of the man’s wallet that was lying on the bed… took a handkerchief, wore gloves.

She made sure all the fingerprints were taken out…on the doorknob, the lampshade, the closet door, the wine glass, the bathroom sink, the gun…

She dressed up, took her wig out, and went out of the house…

She drove from the country to the city…

to be continued…
